Insulated DPC

A reinforcing mesh which is made from woven fibreglass yarns and coated with an alkaline resistant latex. This coating prevents the alkaline present in cements from degrading the glass fibre, resulting in reduced strength.

Intended Use

The mesh is ideal for use in construction and is mainly used to reinforce concrete, cement, screeds, renders and plasters.

 

It is an ideal reinforcement for render, even where cracking can

be seen and allows previously uneven masonry substrates to be rendered.

Application

The majority of manufactures recommend the placement of meshes to be within the first 50% of the render / plaster depth. In general, the nearer the mesh to the substrate, the better.

Storage

Store rolls in a cool, dry location; Store away from direct contact with the ground or concrete; Store out of direct sunlight; Protect rolls from weather and other damage; Store individual rolls or roll cases on end.

Flexi-load High Performance DPC

Description

Polymer engineered High Performance DPC with a unique embossed surface. Tough, flexible and performs well under high compressive loads.

Installation:

  • Flexi-load must extend through the full thickness of the wall, including pointing, applied rendering or other facing material.
  • Flexi-load must be laid on a wet, even bed of mortar and perforations in adjacent courses of brickwork must be closed with mortar.
  • All lap joints must have minimum 100mm overlap and be completely sealed with a suitable tape.

 

Gas Retardant Polymeric DPC

Technical Information:

Our Gas Retardant DPC  has been specially developed for use where structures are built on ground likely to be contaminated by gases such as Radon, Methane or C02. Methane Gas Transmission Rate: 0.02 m1/m2/24hr.
